The government are launching an advertising campaign to get the public ready for when the UK leaves the transition period with the EU and new rules come into effect.

From 1st January 2021 British companies trading with the EU and holidaymakers travelling abroad will face new measures.

Britons wanting to travel to member states of the EU should renew their passports now if their travel documents are due to expire next year. Brits travelling to Europe will be refused entry if their passport is within 6 months of its expiry date from 1st January 2021. Government figures show there are over 5 million people who should begin their application for a new passport this year.
